Count packs and items. Check packaging, product identity, profile, dimensions, colour, batch labels and visible damage. Photograph the load before unloading where practical. Note obvious shortage or freight damage on the carrier document and contact us promptly.
Follow the product guide. As a minimum, store material secure, dry, supported, flat or in the stated orientation, clear of ground and weather, with ventilation where required. Protect it from heat, reflected sunlight, moisture, dirt, cement, lime, metal filings, chemicals, impact and site traffic. Do not stack in a way that causes distortion or overload.
Open enough material to assess batch and appearance. Compare it under project lighting and complete a trial layout where variation matters. Verify quantity, cutting plan and wastage. Check the latest product documents and all project approvals.
Do not cut, drill, glue or install until visible concerns are resolved. Installation generally confirms acceptance of visible characteristics a reasonable inspection should have identified, subject to the Australian Consumer Law.
Stop work and isolate the affected product. Keep labels, packaging and representative samples. Send the order number, delivery date, product/batch, quantity affected, photographs and a clear description to Hello@teakandrope.com.au. Take reasonable steps to prevent further loss without altering evidence unnecessarily.
