Rules for every installation
Teak & Rope supplies materials only. Installation must be completed by a suitably qualified and, where required, licensed contractor. The customer’s project professionals must confirm suitability, design, approvals, evidence of suitability and compliance for the actual project.
Before work begins, verify the delivered product against the order and current documents. Inspect colour, batch, dimensions and condition. Confirm the substrate, support, moisture, drainage, ventilation, movement, fixings, adhesives, sealants, penetrations, interfaces and surrounding construction.
Use only product-specific numerical spans, centres, gaps, fasteners, adhesive coverage and tolerances stated in the current schedule supplied for the exact profile. If that schedule is missing or conflicts with the project, stop and obtain written clarification. Do not copy measurements from another brand or profile.
Stop work if a product appears incorrect, damaged, defective or unsuitable, or if the site differs from the approved design. Photograph the condition and retain affected material. Do not conceal an unresolved issue.
